Opado Jackson is the Founder and Director of MindCare Recovery Foundation, a compassionate humanitarian leader with experience supporting vulnerable individuals, youth, families, and communities. His work brings together social support, mental health awareness, nutrition, faith-based encouragement, and youth development to create pathways of hope, dignity, and lasting transformation.
Opado Jackson is a compassionate and dedicated professional with over six years of experience working in shelter environments across Ontario, Canada, supporting vulnerable individuals facing homelessness. As a Direct Support Professional, he has provided person-centered care to youth living with mental health challenges and developmental disabilities, helping them build resilience, independence, and hope for the future.
With a strong background as a Nutritionist and Food Processing Specialist, Opado brings a holistic approach to care, recognizing the critical role of proper nutrition in physical and mental wellbeing. His multidisciplinary experience allows him to respond to both immediate and long-term needs of individuals and communities in crisis.
As an evangelist, Opado has shared the message of Jesus across different parts of the world, offering spiritual guidance and encouragement to diverse communities. Through MindCare Recovery Foundation, he continues to support youth education, sports programs, community outreach, and recovery-focused initiatives in Uganda and beyond.
His work supports vulnerable individuals, youth development, mental health recovery, nutrition awareness, family stability, spiritual encouragement, and community transformation.
